About

Pretty and poisonous, Holli Hemlock is a bouquet of deadly flowers and joyful, unapologetic queerness, spreading glitter and rage wherever she performs. Now based in Barcelona, their work uses the body to explore power, pleasure, anger, and joy, seizing the normative gaze and turning it back on their own terms.

Trained by GiGi Holliday and Jo Boobs Weldon at the New York School of Burlesque, Holli built a practice rooted in trans embodiment, somatic awareness, and movement-forward storytelling. Their performances shift between anger and joy, grief and euphoria, stillness and eruption.

Mx Hemlock has performed coast to coast across the United States and is now building an active presence in the European performance circuit. A finalist for the 2026 Silver Tusk Video Star award and a performer in the 2026 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, Holli brings a distinctly queer, trans, body-forward vision to every stage they touch. Under Pretty & Poisonous Productions they have produced and hosted two original revues: Glitter Uprising: A Deliciously Disobedient Queer Revue and Joy: A Burlesque of Belonging, both centering queer joy, resistance, and collective liberation.

Holli also serves as IT Lead for BurlyCon, an education and community-focused organization, and was recognized with a 2024 Newbie Award for community care and service.
